Du spielst ein Instrument und/oder singst und möchtest mit anderen Musiker*innen jammen und improvisieren, weißt aber nicht so richtig, wie du am besten einsteigst? Dann ist dieser Workshop für dich genau der richtige.

Rami Olsen ist der musikalische Leiter der Welcome Music Session und zeigt dir in diesem Workshop, wie du dich in einer Jam Session orientierst. Du lernst, woran du erkennst, in welcher Tonart du einsteigen kannst und wie du auf Angebote reagieren kannst. Gemeinsam probiert ihr das Gelernte in einem bewertungsfreien Rahmen aus. Und direkt am Anschluss des Workshops habt ihr die Möglichkeit eure neuen Skills in freier Wildbahn bei der Welcome Music Session (ab 20:30 Uhr) einzusetzen.

Jedes Instrument (auch Stimme) ist willkommen. Für diesen Workshop solltest du bereits Noten lesen können, bzw. ein Grundwissen in Musiktheorie haben. Bring bitte dein eigenes Instrument mit.

Do you play an instrument and/or sing and want to jam and improvise with other musicians, but you’re not sure how best to get started? Then this workshop is exactly right for you.

Rami Olsen is the musical director of the Welcome Music Session and will show you in this workshop how to find your bearings in a jam session. You’ll learn how to tell which key you can join in, and how to respond to what others offer. Together, you’ll try out what you’ve learned in a judgment-free setting. And right after the workshop, you’ll have the chance to put your new skills to use „in the wild“ at the Welcome Music Session (starting at 8:30 PM).

Every instrument (including voice) is welcome. For this workshop, you should already be able to read sheet music or have a basic knowledge of music theory. Please bring your own instrument.
