DESCRIPTION:Bei der Welcome Music Session kommen jeden 2. Donnerstag im Monat Menschen und Musiken aus aller Welt zusammen. Ganz egal\, ob du selber spielen möchtest oder nur zuhören\, mitklatschen oder tanzen möchtest – bei der Welcome Music Session sind alle willkommen! \nDie Session im Oktober wird von J&U Beat eröffnet. Das Duo verbindet ukrainische und jüdische Musiktraditionen mit zeitgenössischen Klängen. Geiger Mark Kovnatskiy und Flötistin Daria Fomina kombinieren akustische Instrumente mit elektronischen Beats und machen aus traditionellen Melodien tanzbare Stücke. \nMark Kovnatskiy ist Klezmer-Violinist\, Komponist und Experte für jiddische Tänze. Er verbindet historische Klezmer-Traditionen mit Einflüssen aus der klassischen Musik sowie der moldauischen und rumänischen Folklore. Als gefragter Solist und Pädagoge ist er international tätig und bereichert die zeitgenössische Klezmer-Szene durch seine innovative Herangehensweise und fundierte Kenntnis der musikalischen Wurzeln. \nDaria Fomina ist eine professionelle Flötistin aus einer Musikerfamilie – ihr Vater ist der bekannte Klarinettist Gennadiy Fomin. Mit über 25 Jahren Erfahrung hat sie eine tiefe Verbindung zur Klezmer-Musik\, die sie heute auch als Dozentin an der Volkshochschule weitergibt. Nach Stationen in der Ukraine und Auftritten in Indien lebt sie seit 2022 in Deutschland\, wo sie auf Festivals und in verschiedenen Kollektiven auftritt. \nDer Eintritt ist frei\, wir bitten um Spenden. He combines historical Klezmer traditions with influences from classical music as well as Moldovan and Romanian folklore. As a sought-after soloist and teacher\, he performs internationally and enriches the contemporary Klezmer scene with his innovative approach and deep knowledge of its musical roots. \nDaria Fomina is a professional flutist from a family of musicians – her father is the well-known clarinetist Gennadiy Fomin. With over 25 years of experience\, she has a deep connection to Klezmer music\, which she now also passes on as a teacher at the Volkshochschule.
